Each year, we distribute part of the funds raised at Bras for a Cause to local and international charities that improve the lives of women and girls.

Soroptimist International of Glendale gives part of the funds raised from Bras for a Cause to support breast cancer services at our three local hospitals.

Awards
Part of the funds raised from Bras for a Cause are also given to the winners of the Women’s Opportunity Award and the Violet Richardson Award, as well as to the charity where the Violet Richardson Award winner volunteers her time.

Standing Project
Since it’s inception in the 1970’s, our club has supported the Glendale Unified School District Spelling Bee. We provide funds for the awards given to the winner of the Elementary, Middle School and High School Spelling Bees.
