What is Soroptimist?
Soroptimist International is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
What does Soroptimist mean?
The word “Soroptimist” comes from Latin and means “best for women”.
How many members do you have?
Soroptimist International has about 90,000 members in 123 countries and territories. Our Glendale club currently has 63 members.
How long have you been around?
Soroptimist International was founded in 1921, and the Glendale club was chartered in 1943.
